Forums - Nintendo - Thinking about buying a DS.

So, I was thinknig about buying a DS tommorow due to the gallons of RPGs it's been getting, and I have a few questions.

Does the DS have built in memory for game saves, or is some kind of memory card required?

What all comes with the DSL brand new out of the box?

Out of the box, as far as I know unless you buy a package like the Guitar hero version you get nothing but the DS and it's battery and charger. Of course 2 styli.

Each game holds it's own save memory much like SNES and other later cart. systems.

Oh, shit, good call.

I'm so used to CD based systems i forgot that Ds is cart.

This makes it even more attractive to me.

Yeah It's sorta hard to go wrong with the DS...

Former something....

you dont need a memory card. and congratz! the ds is awesome.

That's what great about the ds.... now get Elite beat agents

All game carts have a little memory for game saves which is one of the advantages that carts have. no external storage required. From what i see nothing really cept for the manual, battery and two extra styluses.
