I agree with most of this review.

My major problems with the game were as follows. What gameplay is there present ranges from good to bland and mediocre. The over-reliance on cutscenes is a drag. The controls can cause you to do things by accident. The art direction is fine for the characters, but lacking in most of the environments. The graphics also range from excellent to bland/boring. The game is packed with tons of cool things that aren't really useful - guns being a prime example. The Derbin point system is pointless. Many of the things promised in trailers, such as the "living battlefield" amount to nothing more than a very simple mechanic.

I found the camera speed to be far to slow... so I turned it up to 10 and my problem was solved.

I think, that as time passes by, MGS will be proved the worst of the overrated games this gen (yes, worse than Halo 3 anticipation wise)
GTA is still the BEST game this gen.

There is nothing wrong with Halo 3. There was an initial "this game doesn't deserve a 10" reaction but since the game hate has died down and more than 200,000 people play it at any point of the day.

GTA4 and MGS4 will likely see the same treatment.

mgs4 is the best game this generation, if however you dont like these type of games then dont offer reviews.

grafix - controls - sound - gameplay are all epic and top notch
