A remake of Secret of Mana would be awesome.

About the Chrono Trigger remake, does anyone know if it is going to be a port with additional features, or are they doing an overhaul on the graphics like FFIV?

It will be a port with addition features but that is not a bad thing.  I wouldn't mind a Secret of Mana remake but we can't be sure yet.  Exactly how popular is Secret of Mana?

Sorry WOW....while I like the animation style....it doesn't quite fulfill my Mana need. Specifically...it doesn't have you hacking and slashing little cute bunnies and ducks.

This would have me just as, or even more excited than the Chrono remake. Secret of Mana is a game that I still play yearly.

I'm fine with another Mana game, I just don't want a remake.  S-E in particular seems to delight in rehashing its stuff over and over with minor changes.  We're getting Chrono Trigger #3 now... I'd have rathered a real sequel and not the same game over.

It's almost like they've lost the talent to make good games and are now simply reusing their old IPs to make money.
