Madden 09 will be out in a few weeks. No one will be buying Madden 08 anymore. PS3 has Madden 08 on a lock. And when the numbers are that low, in the single digits, it's nothing more than an estimation of sales. You've got to remember that 9k is such a low number, that there's no real way that the boss is getting actual data on the game. I mean, no one is still buying this game. The only time I see this on shelves is in Gamestop, and it's used. I don't see Madden selling at Best buy, or anywhere that sells new games.

I think Wii Madden 09 will eventually sell Million in America...

LOL. It won't. 360 isn't like the PS3, it actually sells more software and I think the Wii will never outsell a 360 madden version.

I doubt 09 on Wii will come close to 09 on X360 but it will eventually catch up to 09 on PS3 (just as 08 is doing now).

A promising note for EA on Wii is that no Madden title has ever sold more than 700k on GC and 08 already eclipsed that total and 09 is expected to hit 1 million.

It'll be interesting to see how big the 360's first week sales for the new madden will be. As they were quite high for the last one.

Reviews will have alot to do with it. I've got a Wii and PS3 and I've yet to decide if I'm getting either version.

Not shore . Usually the sequels kill sales instantly on most consoles , except on the leading one , which manages to push some sales for a couple of more months ...

Get off your ivory tower, dude.  There are actually some nifty extras in the Wii version that might make it worth owning over the other versions to some people... y'know, the type of people who don't blow their load solely over HD graphics.  Perhaps new gameplay features like Call Your Shots might make the experience more engaging (PES style).
