Forums - Gaming - Dungeons and Dragons 4th Ed.

Hey guys,

As some of you may know, D&D 4th Ed. came out earlier this month.  A lot of changes have been made and 4th Ed. is looking a lot less complicated than 3.5 Ed.  So whos been playing?  Reading up?  What class do you play? Race? Tactics?  Do you play from premade Adventures or make your own?  Lets talk all about D&D 4!

I play a Ranger most of the time.  Im playing with a bunch of noobs so its going really slow.  We read through the Players Manual and our DM read the DMG.  We had our first playthrough tonight and it was loads of fun.

4E looks neat I guess.  Haven't really looked into that much.  ^_^

I got out of D&D several years ago to be honest (feeling a bit guilty). Without it RPGs wouldn't even exist. The "problem" with D&D is that it relies too much on imagination and most people are very visually oriented. That is why they play video games.

I never played D&D before but I do own HeroQuest which is based off the Warhammer  40k series I believe, and is kind of like "D&D Light."  Pretty cool none-the-less.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
