There's also the fall update thats going to make live even better. Also I play both PSN and Live and idk, even if u take out the huge content advantage that Live has, the system just all seems to work better on Live. Thats a matter of opinion of course. I believe I get my 50$ worth every year. I signed up for 50$ a year and haven't given it a thought since I registered 5 or so years ago.  But PSN still works and gives me a good online xp make no mistake.

Basically the reason is that Live got started earlier, and has a community at this point, while the PSN community is just getting rolling. Live had some great ideas for building community from the get-go, too, which really helped it grow.

Have you seen anyone talking about the bad in XBL? Have you heard how it is slow like crap?
All you'll ever hear about it is the good, the bad will be hidden until it is too big to handle.
Astroturfers and classic MS tactics, that's why LIVE is considered better than PSN.

- 10 million Live users are keeping all of Xbox Live's dirty secrets "hidden" from the world!!

 

Let's just ignore the fact that when something does go wrong like it did this past xmas break, no online news site, blogger, or forum members will say a peep about it.. not only that but MS will also not apologize for the inconvience and offer a free xbox live game.. no no no.. that just never happened.

The only thing it has over the PSN is this:

Cross game invites/IN GAME VOICE CHAT

Thats it,

we already have everything else, and by E3 the VDL service.

We also have better online gameplay(less lag)
An internet browser
Information board
Soon to be released weather service for PSN
and a better achivement system(but only 2 games currently out supports the trophies, by end of the month should go up significantly)

i have both PSN and LIVE and psn is like going to a 7-Eleven Store and LIVE is like going to Waltmart, the big diference between psn and live is mainly the content

Some people have just gotten used to handing M$ cash for things that other companies offer for free. To them it's like they are not paying at all. Me? I'd rather spend the extra $250 that you'll pay for 5 years of XBL on a Wii.
