i think the 3D era has better games then the 2D one

Yeah but you're 16. When 2D gaming died you were 4. Your parents probably conceived you in the vicinity of a Genesis.

I'm sure you have, but you saw them through the eyes of someone growing up on 3D gaming. If you ran through Mario 64 already, it may be hard to go back and discover Super Mario Bros. and understand what made it so awesome.

2d games FTW... im fromthe NES Era.. i keep playing some of the old games, SMB3, megaman, etc... 3d is good, but i prefer 2d...

I love Zelda but cant play such an epic scale game on 2D top down.
I just cant get into and makes not even wanna play it.

Even though i grew up with 3D games, i prefer 2D gaming by far.

I grew up playing 2D wishing it was 3D. 3D games are the best, just so much more you can do with them.

I have enjoyed both equally both have given me great memories.
Even Though my fave system is Dreamcast and fave game is Shenmue from the so called "3d era" I do have so many great memories of playing SNES/Genesis NES Atari and so much more.
Then have great memories of N64/PSone through current.
