Guys, the DS only sold 400,000 this week. More than all Sony products combined.

Ya, DS definatly isnt popular anymore.


It's so last week.

So then what is there to be discussed about games like Animal Crossing Wii and Kid Icarus that get multiple topics a week and don't even exist yet? Mario Kart Wii gets half a page worth of topics. Fatal Frame, Conduit and many others get their fair share. Even Sadness gets more attention, and it's not even a real game. What's there to be discussed about them over DS games that will probably outperform them both in sales and quality? I'm especially wondering since a large portion of this site seems to get overly excited over RPG news for consoles, and yet there's so little talk over the weekly DS RPG being released.

I agree w/ Montana, though. It was like the Bulls in the old days.

Plus there is not much to talk about.
You yourself pretty much said majority of the people agree the DS is quite innovative and fun, and all that stuff.
We pretty much all agree about it.

With Wii, 360 and PS3 at least there is something to talk about 'cuz they're new. New lineup of games, competition over sales, etc...

The DS is the best thing ever since the Snes. It got the best games out of all consoles.

In order to make a thread on something that gets tuns of hits on just about any site these days you need - conflict.

At the moment their is none, DS is pretty much doing it's thing, Outsells even the Wii WW by a margin, and in handhelds WW outsells PSP by 2:1 most of the time - people reffer to it tuns of times though, and unlike PS360Wii people are usually too busy enjoying it to talk about it.

With the WiiPS360 the enjoyment of talking about how it's various events are more... eventfull than actually playing I guess.

That's kind of my case though. >.> also most of those games you've brought up have been discussed already.

Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Does the DS make us all too happy to discuss it? Are the real DS players too busy playing their gift from God to bother with these forums? This is without a doubt, the summer of the DS and all anyone can talk about in here is the Wii and whatever scrappings it's picked up this week.

 

The DS already won....by a lot. No need to support it in every post now, for a fanboy. All sides have accepted its dominance.

Also, handheld is really a secondary game, in the eyes of most fanboys.

 

The Wii, however, is very fun to talk about, lol, especially on a sales site with a vast array of haters attempting to marginalize it.
