You can record bits of your performance with the PS Eye and upload it to the community where they watch it and rate you, similar to YouTube, I guess. If I remember correctly, you can record video/audio or just audio, I only watched someone play it once, though, so there might be more I'm missing. It's the part where you watch and rate other people's stuff I'd be wary of. I didn't see anything X-rated or anything, but I did see a dude having liqueur poured in his mouth and some people improvise with more colorful lyrics.
Some of it is somewhat funny, for you and the wife, maybe, but probably not cool for a 10-year old. edit: I don't mean to down it. It's a really cool feature.

Congrats on the buy. You can pick up Resistance, Uncharted and COD4 uber cheap off eBay. Resistance will pale in comparison to Halo and Gears. Rent it or buy it cheap off eBay or craigslist.

Warhawk is sweet, but since you don't do online, you can't use it.

Ratchet and Clank - I thought the demo was cool. When I see it for under $20, I'll snag it.

Too bad you didn't get the 5 free Blu deal. I snagged a 40gb PS3 - flipped it sans the UPC and got my 5 Blus and some loot. Still have my 20gb PS3, though.

Enjoy it and make sure your 360 and PS3 don't get hostile.

You and I are in the same boat, Kn. Since you already have a 360, and you plan on buying a few PS3 exclusives, you may soon feel what I feel: That you own EVERY single game that you want for the PS3!! All that's left for me is Ratchet and Clank. After that, I have no reason to browse the PS3 section until late this year :(
