Forums - General - Would you rather drown, or sufocate?

Suffocation.

Whatever Tali says, goes.

Around the Network

"People have drowned in as little as 30 mm of water lying face down, in one case in a wheel rut. Children have drowned in baths, buckets and toilets; inebriates or those under the influence of drugs have died in puddles."

To die in a puddle (tripping off LSD) would be the way to go...

Death is an awful thing to think about.

Drowning, I like swimming

Funny, drowning is the exact opposite of swimming.

This gives me an idea for a thread...

Around the Network

I almost drowned once.. so I prefer that.. there is this moment were you can't take anything in anymore and your blood doesn't flows that fast so you have this moment of peace... everything seems to slow down.. until you're pulled out of the water.. then the panic starts..

The worst thing would be: Being on a plane flyin over the sea, and then it explode... so, you are burning in the air, falling. But you survive, but you can't swim! You have third degree burns... and you are about to drown... slowly...

And when you are about to die, a shark start eating you...

That would be bad.

You wont survive the fall XD

That would be a good movie.

Drowning. I think you die quicker, because the water replaces a lot of the air in your lungs.

You'll be unconscious before the water gets into your lungs.  You go into shock before drowning, as the water passes your throat..  It ranges on how long it takes a person to lose consciousness when suffocating, it can go up to like 2 minutes of you struggling to find air I think.  Those 2 minutes would seem like an eternity.  On the flipside some people go into shock and be unconscious in mere seconds.

I'm saying neither, too handsome to die.
