Just want to say, as a mod I expect someone with such a position to try to calm things down whenever possible and provide people the benefit of doubt, consider them innocent unless intends can be proven to be undoubtably malicious. Instead of doing so, you poured oil onto a fire especially by posting that picture you crafted directed at me personally. IMO you don't make a good mod. I'll leave it at that as I prefer not to be banned....

I never said stay out of the thread, I said point to what your problem is specifically or don't post. The problem here is plain for all to see. You were attacked by people for this thread and many of them doubted you completely, I was not one of those people, but you singled me out as if I was one of them. I even said that there were more Wiis than I thought there would be giving you credit for being closer than I expected and that wasn't good enough for you.

This is a situation where I gave you the benefit of the doubt at the very beginning and assumed you knew what you saw, assumed you weren't lying, and said that I thought you were merely mistaken and overestimating a bit, if thats not giving the benefit of the doubt then what is? You just targeted the wrong person, thats not my fault.

PS - The picture says "MikeB's story" not "MikeB", you took it too personal. There was even a note below the picture making this even more clear if it wasn't already.....and honestly if you had PMd me and asked me to remove the pic I would of.

I am a Nintendo fan and I can usually see why the Fanboys are getting upset (for any console) but this is ridiculous.

@everyone. What is the big problem here? You guys realize these are pics from a Media Markt in Europe? I can walk into any of them and see stacks of Wiis. Maybe not 300, but ALWAYS AT LEAST 40 or so. Plus WiiFit. Plus everything. People here just buy them a bit slower, they have been in constant supply for like ages.

I even had an avatar last year that looked similar.

And this pic tells me: The stores are REALLY stocking up cause they know thos things will sell. No store would order 200-300 consoles if they would expect only 20 to sell. so THIS IS GOOD NEWS ALL AROUND.

They didn't ship more, cause who would think that a bundle 100 bucks more expensive than the normal unit would sell better than that.  Apparently Americans want b/c, and people are making that abundantly clear, by not buying the forty gigabyte unit.  They're shipping more as we speak right now, to satite everyone's hunger for this bundle.  There is no production issue, but a lack of production, because Sony underestimated 80 GB demand.

I'm pretty sure that each bundle is being system is being sold for a loss, but that's been going on since the system launch.  Whether or not it's more of a loss compared to the forty gig is unknown, but it's safe to say that with the bundled game, and the free download for PSN game Pain (10 bucks), that they are losing more money on the 80 gig.  But that wouldn't stop them from making and selling it, as I previously said, that they've been selling the system for a loss since launch.  I think you're reading too much into the lack of 80 gigs, rather than looking at something, and then takinig it at face value.  But it's not your fault.  Too many people read into things too much, rather than something simpel.  People seem to believe it's a conspiracy, or some huge to-do about everything, when somemthings, like this, are simple.

There were 2 Wiis in a Target I went to today. I go to that target somewhat regularly, (NOT daily), and this is the first time I've seen them (90% of the time I remember to look). One was being purchased as I was there.

So, maybe they are flooding. Can't wait to see next week's numbers, if they are

That's a ton of Wiis, just like Shams I'd be interested to know how many units that store has in stock after the weekend.
