And Morrowind is addicted as well?

^^I think I have been addicted to both. I never beat the main quest in Morrowind. I would just rather do other stuff in the game. I did beat both expansion main quests though with a few characters. Being a Werewolf was freaking awesome.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

mmmm, I don't think more Oblivion related addiction would settle good with my wife.

Oblivion. I spent more than 100 hours of my life with that game. The horror! I was addicted.

lol, that's like nuffin for a game like Oblivion.

I have over 1000 hours.

My advice is to go to Planet Elder Scrolls and install whatever mods sound appealing: if nothing else, some can make late-game stealth and magic-based characters more fun to play. If you're sticking with vanilla, the archer/sneak character got kind of boring for me after a short while: hit with arrow, and repeat while running backwards. For fun, try being a monk or other unarmed class.

On my 3rd or 4th character, I went with a "Ninja" class - Ranged Weapons, and tons of Sneak.

Quite possibly the best character I've ever made in a TSE game. I kept him @ Level 1. I took him through the Shivering Isles and not a single enemy touched him - they were all dead yards infront of him. He did major sneak-boosted damage with his bow, and always killed every given enemy before they got close.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Archer and Sneak was my previous (or current, really) character and I think it works brilliantly! The amount of damage you can do is staggering and you can kill swarms of enemies without them even noticing you when your Sneak skill is high enough!
The one weakness is general fortitude in close combat and spellcasting abilities, but I did well in close combat as well since I always had two sets of rings and other jewelry on me; one for sneak and ranged and one for close combat with Shield, Damage Reflection etc.
If you know your way around the game you can build a very powerful Archer/Sneak character and it is easy (or at least possible) to achieve 100% and more of Damage Reflection and Spell Absorb and Reflect, all at the same time.

yeah i have read it somewhere but how can you achieve more then 100% reflection?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

How about an archer summoner? When you can't sneak up drop out a scamp to distract them.

Also you could try archer/illusionist, overburden your opponents and fortify chameleon yourself.

It's an interesting game but despite the insane amount of content it doesn't really last long. The only quests that are interesting are the Dark Hand (or whatever they're called) and you get so wrapped up keeping track of the insane amount of quests that you completely forget about the main quest.

Because of all that you make your way through the Dark Hand quests with ease, get stupid powerful really quickly, have an easy thing with everything else, and eventually quit before you even get past Kvatch because it just gets boring.  I know a small handful of people that bothered getting past Kvatch and a very small amount of those people even bothered getting much further in the storyline than that.  I actually don't think I know any (real) person that completed the main storyline.  There's just no motivation.

There really is such a thing as too much.
