I just didn't want him to get an old 360..........I don't wanna keep using the word "friend" so loosely, but if I keep dropping names, you guys will be like "huh?"..anyway, my friend's Jake and Andrew both have 360s so he wanted to play with them. Anyone whose i this forum already knows and is interested in more of consoles'' life than anyone who doesn.t While to you, who visit this site, oter gaming sites and all, find that the 360 isn't the way to go, atleast not that model, all he sees is a aming console like the others, so it's understandable to find him "ignorant". Try explaining that to your dad or mom, it's the same thing except they'll take your word for it even if they don't understand anything you're saying.

Honestly if you really know what you're doing he could fix it but it's not like a PC. I've fixed Xbox360's before to the tune of 20$ in supplies. It involves knowing something about electronics though not just software. Also it's only temporary when you fix it though generally it seems to last a good long while every few times you fix it'll break after a short period. Really poor design on it..
that goes back to microsofts experience as a software company not a hardware company though. They tried to do it internally to save money and see what happens?

COD4 plays well on my PS3 but when I've played it on XBOX360 it's failed to impress me as much. I think controls may have a role in this though.

But yes, a lot of people who buy consoles are this ignorant. However, most people aren't interested in knowing everything about a product. Mostly related to technology things. But you know, it's the same for me and clothes. I have no knowledge of designer labels and fashion trends. Someone who loves that stuff would probably be horrified at my lack of knowledge .
