Are we playing with the pictures? You give me one frame and I tell you go watch the video. There is no lighting effects in PS3 version and it has no aa too. Read the article. However, it is silly to disagree on such a lame game.

What I'm saying is watch the video and come to your own conclusions, rather than read the article. The 360 version looks very blurry, which easily acounts for the added AA (as in, it's not AA at all.  The jaggies are just blurred, much like what R* did with the ps3 version of GTA).  And at various points around the beginning of the video it's obvious the ps3 version has the longer draw distance.

This article was getting ripped to shreds on NeoGAF.  Apparently Eurogamer was focusing on the positives of the 360 versions of the games, and downplaying the advantages of the ps3 versions.

Just look at these Quake Wars screens captured from their own comparison video:

Full pic here.

Full pic here.

Which version looks better to you?

People in the thread were also saying that the demo for Grid on the ps3 had some tearing issues as mentioned by Eurogamer, but that they were just about gone in the retail version.

Read the thread here.

read this ( First of all, bearing in mind that two entirely different developers have made these games ) .. this is from eurogamer site so i think 360 have a lazy developers for this game.

Here we go again.

PS3 is the lead platform for GTA IV.

One more time, what solar system are you coming from? The GTAIV 360 development had 1 year headstart  in regard to the PS3 one, and the game would have been released in Autumn 2007 if it wasn't the race of making PS3 version look similar to the 360 one.

ops lol my mistake :P.

Another win for 360? Nothing new.

many people in the forum still believe to the SONY hype, they are just blind and cant see the truth...

Are you trying to say the 360 is equal to or more powerful than the ps3? Because thats flat out wrong.

@squllium

Wow its so funny how you only talk about the GPU, and completely forget the CELL is a CPU based on working on both graphics, and physics.

edit: Apparently you havent seen killzone 2

Who cares about graphics being 5% better on any console anyways? Framerate and stability is much more vital to me. 60fps is heaven.

Calling others who don't share your uninformed perspectives to be blind?

And the truth is? Answer me some questions.

- Which system has by far the most processing power?

- Which system can perform more shader ops per second?

- Which system can hold far more data on disc?

- Which system has a default harddrive for every potential game to take advantage of for streaming combined with easily predictable streaming speeds which can be much better optimised for?

Technically it's easy to see the PS3 is the well more powerful console, to understand some problems developers are facing you will have to dig deeper for the roots.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

Ya, of course the 360 has um more efficient hardware utilization - because um, Microsoft is a software company? They also have a better GPU which counts more in 1/1 comparisons because you notice visual effects way before you notice the better AI or slightly larger world etc.

Oh right, so does that mean that all the ps3 exclusive could be done on the x360 pluss look better, i just always assumed that the multi-plat gams looked better on the 360 because it takes longer to get the same amount of performance out if the ps3 and not having enough time to do it because of the development on the 360 also.

Overlord was released almost a year ago on 360 with the PS3 version having just released so what is the excuse there?

A cheap port of a 360 game obviously

The multi-platform games are exactly the same. People just play your games and stop talking nonsense on here.
