You give number the 7th july just before 3 pm in Australia, so absolutely not the number next exactly 6 days.
Now in Australia, the 7th july at 11.59 pm, they are exactly 6116 ps3 sold with the bravia promotion, so 873.71 consoles sold per days.
There is a catch you have to buy a $3500 Sony Bravia TV. You get the PS3 on redemption.
let me just say... they are selling TVs way too expensive down there.
32 inch for 2K?? are you kidding me???
Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.

Not currently on track to sell 35k, but it is a pretty big purchase, so some people may see the promotion and take a few weeks to get the money together. My guess is sales will increase towards the end of the month.
13,631 sold through the first two weeks (July 15th 00:18 AEST). Average 973/day x 31 = 30,183.
Not on track to sell the whole 35,000, but shouldn't be too far off.
They love to give these things away in Australia. Isn't this like the second or third time they've given away a PS3 with an HD TV.
I'd say i wish i was in Australia except getting a PS3 for free is probably only fair cause they'll pay it all back in $100+ games.
Edit: and apparently the TVs too.

16,957 through 17 days = 997/day = 30,922/month.
However, numbers are getting higher as the promotion goes on. Last three days = 1109/day. If it continued at that rate 32,500 will end up being sold. Weekends should be higher than last three days though, so I think they may end up shifting all 35,000 as long as it keeps trending upwards.
