I should really give my reasoning for creating the thread so you can understand the intention behind it. I'm not used to watching TV with homosexual content in it ( I understand it's going to be the norm as time passes) but it kinda caught me off guard when I saw it in Hollyoaks , it's kinda the norm to see it in holyoaks and a few other T.V ( I don't watch alota soaps) .
Then there was a T.V advert which was removed because of complaints about the content.
then I got to thinking how much will the acceptance of homosexuality in media , every day life etc affect us . I'm not so bothered to have an argument as to wether it will have any affect what so ever because it's guaranteed to. What i'm more concerned is how it will affect us , wether it's seen as a beneficial change or a negative one , how peopel are responding to it etc.

I could care less. |
Would that mean 5 years olds could be homosexaul or is it something that occurs at puberty ?

Born gay, means BORN GAY. Every person I have ever know that is gay has always maintained that they ALWAYS like the same sex. Same for heterosexuals. Whenever the average age is when you start noticing your feelings of affection to someone, that is when you realize you are either looking at bill or gill in a loving way.

So would that mean the a toddle "homosexual" would respond to images of a nude mad in the same way a "hetrosexual todller" would respond to images of nude women , if our sexual preferences are innate in this way then it would stand to reason that the response would be the same. Would that also mean that it would be impossible for a once hetrosexual man to become homosexual or a once homosexual man to become hetrosexual permanently ?
Would it be a mental illness for a baby born homosexual to like ladies and not men in adulthood ?
I'm not arguing against you , i'm trying to further my understanding.

A "homosexual toddler" and "heterosexual toddler" (I highly doubt their sexual preferences have evolved to such a point... I was playing with blocks then!) would indeed react the same. I mean all toddlers will respond the same to nude images, e.g. eat them.
Even when they are older it will merely depend on the moment they start to feel something for a person, and wether this person is male or female. Someone else said: a person does not know, untill it's that time. Might be puberty, might be when you haven't even reached age 10.
And yes it has happened that pre-heterosexual people turned homosexual or even vice versa, though I think those people usually end up being bi-sexual even if they do not touch the opposite/same sex anymore.
And calling it a mentall illness, despite age of the person you acknolwedge it too is considered rather un-medical in the US since 1974, and flat-out retarded since the 90's by the rest of non-biggotted the people.
