Check the VGC games pages... it seems they usually come out in America a couple of weeks before Japan, apart from RE3.

Nothing wrong with hoping though but it has stated a lot of times before that this game will be released in 2009 the only thing that might have confused you is a article that the game maybe would see a release this fiscal year (but the fiscal year goes till Q1 2009) and this gen we didn't had a game yet that released a year before they have predicted (I think).

Ohh well theres plenty of other games to play until then.

Looking at the bright side, maybe they'll have time to implement IR pointing controls if the 360 gets those. Not certain but possible...

 That would be heaven. Let's just hope they announce the x-mote on E3 together with Halo Wars support for it, and there actually would be a chance for it on RE5 too.

I'd love that to happen. Capcom said they didn't plan on doing that though.  

If Sony/MS do announce those controllers and want to be taken seriously, they better start convincing 3rd parties to support them... Even then it will be an uphill battle as peripherals always are, but at least it would be an uphill battle with a chance of being won (no matter how tiny)...

Oh they did? But how can they comment on it if there exists no x-mote? Or can the sixaxxis be used as a pistol?
