The Japanese Gamespot has the launchdate for RE5 on May 2009. 

Wow, that's a long wait. I was hoping to be playing this in November.

I predicted RE5 would appear in 2009. So when will a Western launch appear? A couple of months later I assume after the Japanese launch.

I thought 2009 was the target release,but they might release it early.

Yeah, they said that RE5 was not coming out in 2008 forever ago. I was expecting Late 09, so this is cool.

RE5 has been slated for 2009 as long as I can remember. I was expecting somewhere between February and June, so I'm pleased.

I'm late, I thought this game was suppose to be out sometime this year. Now its a longer wait.

Well how do you expect them to get the wii version done this year?

NO, RE5 was a 2008 release until just recently. Hell, wasn't it even a 2007 release for a long time, I remember MS had it in their E3 showcase back then.

Anyway, May 2009 sucks big time! It's a whole year! =(

Wasn't it suppose to be Q1 2009 as the latest? The Capcom quarterly/Fiscal report for investors said it was going to be out by Q1 2009.

What's the history about RE-games, do they ever have WW simultaneous releases or the Japs always get them first?
