Any huge blockbuster game, I usually hear of. Hence SC2, Spore, Crysis.
Maybe If I tried some, I might like some of them, but average gamers do not play all those lackluster PC games. You gotta be "special" (or just really into your PC)

You hear about Crysis, yet you don't know about the other games that SOLD BETTER than Crysis.... You are just ignorant.

I guess I'm what Ben would call, "A stupid console fanboy".
What SSJ12 would call, "A 3 year old" because I dont play computer games for 20 hours a day or whatever he said. (something on the lines of "I played Computer games more than you ever played console games") I'm like LOL...whoa, you got it going on!.... Cool dude.

And how did you try to argument your point? You said stuff like "zomg ssj12 got pwned rofl", "PC is getting owned, 0-2" and then you did the basic ignorant thing which was quoting the NPD figures, while NPD itself said that did in no way reflect the PC gaming market.
If SSJ12 called you a "3 year old", it's because your arguments were more about ignorant statements and trolling, than actual facts.

The point you guys try prove is, PC gamers are too "l33t" for console gamers (is that how you say it in super internet kid terms?)
But I say its definatly not. Definalty not mainstream among all the people I know. The lawyers, the professors, software programmers at major universities, Microsoft employees, all the way to the itty bitty EB game clerks/bestbuy employees/Wal-Mart associates.

PC is not mainstream?? Dude, there are over 250 millions online PC gamers worldwide, bigger than the entire Console Industry.
In Asia, PC is the dominant platform and makes more money than all consoles combined (including Japan's market). China's Gaming market is almost exclusively PC, South Korea's market is 80% PC, India's market is 80% PC. The only asian market I can think of that is Console dominant is Japan, and Japan is stagnant, barely increasing each year, while China's growth is exploding.
In Europe, PC sells atleast twice the games than any Console does (and that's not even counting the Digital Distribution). Europe is mostly populated by PC-centric countries: Portugal, Germany, Russia, all the eastern european countries, all the scandinavian countries, etc...
In US, that's the only market where PC isn't trully dominant, but it is barely dieing: NPD reported that online subscriptions make over $1 billion in the US every year. The subscriptions alone is Bigger than the North-american boxed Retail PC market, and they still need to estimate advertisement based, digital distribution and micro-transaction based revenues.

Just like there's countless games on PC that will never grace the Consoles.

Then you got PC for the ultimate Blizzard games, or that Sims game I played for 5 minutes once and was like fuck this game.
Seriously Blizzard games are the only ones im "jealous" that arent on console. Only the Blizzard games. There is not a single other game. All the other "great" pc games are going on console. Spore(Wii) and Crysis(PS3)
|
You know nothing about PC games, so it's understandable you wouldn't be jealous of them.
Think about it, you said you are jealous of Starcraft 2, yet you probably don't even know the RTS game called "Company of Heroes" or "Dawn of War", which are probably 2 of the best RTS of the last 10 years. If you don't know games like those, then how can you judge PC games???
Spore on Wii? Just like the DS version, don't expect the Wii version to be the same as the PC one, and just a spin-off
Crysis on PS3? HAHAHA, Crytek said Crysis is a PC-exclusive franchise! It will never come to consoles.

Including the loss of support(says the great Sid Meier) for PC games and increase of support for console.

I highly doubt he said that. And even if he did, he himself wouldn't have any complaints since Civilization IV (a much better game than the Civilization Revolution on consoles) is a multi-million seller, and the 3rd expansion for it is coming out this year.
And every single home Console is losing exclusives or amount of quality titles, and are in much worse than PC. Why? Because PC has the strength of Indie development and Open platform development. PC has more BIG Exclusive titles coming out this year than both PS3 and Xbox 360 combined... what does that tell us? Let's analyse the Home Consoles:
Wii - Many exclusive games, but almost no quality titles from third parties. Too bad though, it's the console I believe it's the most deserving of decent games.
PS3 - Pretty much no third party support, with the exceptions a just a few titles, and only 1 of those stands out (MGS4, I may be wrong though). It's lineup survives from multi-platform titles.
Xbox 360 - It's biggest advantage is the fact that it's easy to port PC games to the 360. If it weren't for that, you'd see a much worse games library for the MS's console. Hell, just look at the Xbox 360's 2008 "exclusive" titles thread, and you'll see that most of it are ports from the PC... LOL.
Now tell me how any of those consoles can stand up to the PC superiority.
