Hello people, my problem is this one, i have the game on aoutosave, so, every time i finish a song, the same says "saving, dont turn off your console" you know that. But, when is saving the game appears a message than says "overwriting error. there isnt  storage device selected and the actual storage device (HDD i think) isnt available". then, i have 2 options RETRY and CONTINUE. When i select retry and HARD DRIVE  again, the game tell me "if you want to overwrite, bla bla" then, when i select OVERWRITE, apears me once again the first message.

So, somebody know what can i do for fixed, because i cant save my game and with that, i cant save my new scores. Plase, any idea? i need to take of the hdd and put it in again?? because all my downloaded songs are in the game, i can play them so, the game can read the hdd but, i cant save my game. what could be the problem?? please help me, i am doing may high scores, but lossing them.

Hey, for all of you, i can save my game now, i think than the problem is the wow song. you know, i downloaded it on the morning and then i wasnt able to save the game. After erase it, i saved my game like before. So check that, if you have the same problem after download the song, erase it.

First, which console is this 360 or PS3?

I can't tell you precisely how resources are handled in a console OS but on a PC the hard drive is used and while it might show 3GBs free the OS might have them reserved or in use as swap or just temporary storage in general. 

Even if you're pretty sure this isn't the problem I would still suggest deleting a few things you don't need and trying again, worst case you have to re-install a game or two but at least you will have it ruled out absolutely.
