On this forum it's mostly the PC fanboys such as myself that argue that point.  We don't like being told that our favorite platform doesn't count.

OT:  It's possible, I suppose.  Epic owns the Gears IP and Microsoft only signed a deal to publish the first two games in the series.  Epic has said the series will be a trilogy, so the third one could end up anywhere.

I remembered watching Game Trailers TV on Spike with Geoff Keighley mentioning something about GOW3 being on the PS3 because of the blu-ray disc.

The Gears of War games are tentpole titles for Microsoft so it's extremely doubtful the third one would ever appear on the PS3.

If Epic wants a lot more sales, it'll put it on PS3 with its much bigger install base, or more probably 360/PS3.

The next Xbox won't have an easy time breaking in with PS3 in its mid-cycle.

Why do people always get the PC in the middle of PS3/360 conv. ....it's pointless, they are completely different. PS3/360 are made completely for gaming, while PC is used to work/research but you can game in it.

Also, you can't upgrade consoles like PCs, so there is really no point in comparing them.

I highly doubt it, but if MS doesn't own the rights, and by the time PS3 is ahead of the game, Epic could put it on the PS3.

if Epic wants more money they will. It would be a guarenteed multi million seller on PS3.

This is just stupid. Gears 2 already looks considerably better than 1. Not to mention that 1 is still in my top 3 of this gen. Gears definately has the most detailed textures in a home console game.

Hmmmm, I believe it is a smaller install base? By about 5.8 million.

This guy has 20 posts and he has managed to create 5 or 6 threads. And sh**ty threads may I add. The saddest thing is that people jump in and they raise his status. As the months pass by, I unfortunately realize that this site suffers loads of immaturity user wise...
