I can see it now, Kid Icarus being AMAZING! Yea I said it.

If it were any other developer I would say average at best, but Nintendo do have a knack at bringing their 2d characters into the 3rd dimension or at least being able to hand pick a good developer to do it, so I'm going to say it'll be a good game.
That's assuming it were a 3d game, if it were a 2d with 3d character models (NSMB) then it'll be guaranteed awesome.

Im a big Nintendo Fan and even I admit they make games that suck, Some recent ones I can think of are Doshin the Giant and Super Paper Mario, I would say the 3D Metroids as well but even thou I hate them I can tell there actually good games. Im sure there are more but I guess I blocked them from my mind like LNRT.

I can't say. It isn't even official and I havent seen any screens or vids.

I disagree about Super Paper Mario.  The only problem with it is the other paper mario games.  Taking as it's own platformer game it's pretty awesome.

If we go by what IGN says (and that is really all we have to go by)...then it is probably being made by Factor 5...the company responsible for Rogue Squadron...and Lair.

to me it all depends on what genre are they going for and how well it is impelmented .Will it be Flying/action adventure, or a Platformer , or a Action adventure rpg, or maybe some kind hybrid of Brawler/adventure. I want see what direction they will take the series.

I really don't want a rogue squadren like game.  Which all i've known them to make. (Lair included.)

Its not like people clamour over their ground segments either.
