Titles that are upcoming in fall 2008, Socom for PS3, Gears for x360, which one will be better?

I never really liked the Socom games, and Gears 1 is one of my all-time faves, so G2 for me.

hmm interesting, so realism over brutal fiction, does everyone else agrees that severing a charecter's limbs to bloody pieces over the floor is better? How about gameplay wise, or online gameplay, since its going to be the highlight for both of them.

I love Socom to death, for me Socom is better than Gears, but for the majority I think gears of war 2 will easily be better and bigger than S:C

why are we comparing this? R2 vs Gears 2 makes more sense then this... yes and army tactical shooter vs a third person shooter... makes a TON of sense.

Lets compare Final Fantasy XIII to Forza 3 next.
