Forums - Gaming - What is the best video game review site/magazine/etc?

I say IGN by a long shot. (I don't look at reviews too much and when I do, it's usually at IGN, so I'm not too familiar with other review sites)

What do you think?

Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

I am going to be shameless and say Pelit, the Finnish magazine.

Mainly because they've been around for ages, and because they have at least one reviewer who reviewed games for the C64. He's seen it all and gives no mercy. He is the one reviewer I trust in this world, all others carry less weight.

Vgchartz forums.

Why? Because peer reviews are where it's at. Screw "professional" reviews.

ummm...I rely on my personal taste rather than listen to pro reviewers that get paid from publishers and give bias views.

Hhrrmzz, yeah I'd say IGN too.

IGN is as corrupt as Gamespot, so no.

I'd say EDGE and Eurogamer are the best.

Shawn Elliot and Jeremy Parrish from 1up are maybe the only two reviewers I trust to give clear headed, insightful reviews. I like James Mielke too, but I wouldn't say he's the most objective guy.

Penny Arcade, when they express their opinions, are competent as well.

And Yahtzee at Zero Punctuation for pointing out the ugly truths about games that alot of gamers choose to ignore.
