Can the Wii do AA or at least some sort of AA? Every game I've seen so far for the Wii has some of the worst jaggies since the PS2 originally came out. (I mean I know it 'should' be able to do it no problem. But my question more lies... Why isnt it being used?)

You know what ? People like you or your opinion have really no value, at all. Most people buy a console to play games, to have fun playing these games, to use their brain, I don't know. But people like you, who are mere graphics whores and number crunching whores, whose sole love is to compare meaningless numbers in consoles, are just stupid, and fortunately, are a little part of the gamers population. You don't even understand what gaming is. It's telling when someone basically buys 2 DS, doesn't play games on them for 6 months, and then come complaining he has been ripped off. How can someone do things so stupid ? People don't care about AA, AAA, memory or what other nonsense. You don't understand these specs either, so you should stop talking about thing you don't understand, and go educate yourself about them. At least that would be productive. And what are you doing here if you want to play the PSP so bad ? This console suffers from a very bad attach rate ratio, go buy one with all these games you like so much. Seems like the graphics whore and number crunching people that were saying it would crush the DS are a bunch of morons who are not even able to buy games for their beloved console. Seems like DS is on the way to have the biggest number of AAA games of all time (yes, I'm talking about the DS here, it's one game behind, and DQ will most likely achieve several millions sales). So if the DS can do it, the Wii can too. I don't know if it will, or if even it will succeed (have to sell 30+ M for Nintendo to be happy), but it tries. AA games are not about having jaggies or not. There were AA, AAA games on every console before, that weren't HD. Perhaps one day you can understand that, but I doubt it.

you're right. The wii cannot use AA. However, as graphics is not a selling point of the Wii, users going in expecting this are just expecting too much. Though I wouldn't compare the Wii games to the first PS2 types that came out. Seriously man. At least be realistic. A game created on PS2 Hardware then ported to the GC looked about the same. A game created on GC Hardware then ported to the PS2 looked better on the GC. That's just the way it is. Perfect examples are EA sports and RE4 respectively. Maybe it was easier to port to the GC, I don't know, but I do know that it is universally agreed that the PS2 was the weakest of last gen. Quit trying to force the idea that it is otherwise.

Even if what you were saying wasn't crap...why compare Wii's early games to PS2's early games, and then criticize it? They're EARLY games! If the PS2 has way prettier and high quality games now...what will Wii's later games look like? Great, that's what. The Wii will never match the PS3 in graphics power. There. Is that what you wanted to hear? Now that we have this fact established, let's freakin move on. As you can see, there are a lot of Wii users, and the majority of us care about the quality of our games, not AA, even though that's a nice graphical improvement that apparently is missing on the Wii. I think you're judging the Wii's capabilities based on launch games...and that's not fair, because half the time you're looking at Zelda, A GC GAME, and Sports, which we all acknowledge is graphically crap. I think Wii develepors in the future will find ways to use the hardware as best it can, and it'll look fine to us...maybe not to a PS3 fan, but why even bother trying to attract Sony fanboys...they'll just whine about the graphics.

I've been checking VGCharts for quite some time now to see how the sales are doing on the Wii. Yes, I'm an avid Wii User, you got a problem? And for quite some time now...I've been seeing you yack like a graphics whore and it's frankly pissing me off. See, the Wii is not about Graphics, specs, and power. Nintendo is not getting into that since Microsoft and Sony are at it like a bunch of wild dogs over a piece of meat. Nintendo focus MORE on the humbler side of gaming, the garden variety gamer. Now, in my 2 months in being a Wii user, I've heard on the street that people are really liking the Wii. There are still probarly millinos waiting to get their hands on a Wii, even though supply is now being overshadowed by demand. In short, the Wii and Nintendo don't care about AA, AAA games. You know why? Because it's still way too early to call it. Xbox already had it's headstart, good for them and they got now working Xboxes to their limits. Now, PS3 and Wii are almost three months old. Their capabilities are still not being reached to it's FULL potentional. Do you see what I'm getting at, Kwaad? In my opinion, it is still too early to call who's the winner on the Next-Gen War, because just barely two months ago, PS3 and Wii came out to take the Xbox360's Year-Long lead. So you see...Nintendo doesn't care about graphics, they don't care at all. I know that I may have gotten off my point and I rambled, but whatever. I'll probarly be harsh for a moment and say that you are nothing but a graphics whore who is whining about how the PS3 has godly graphics, but all the attention is going to the Wii. You WANT people to see the PS3's godlyness, so you be harsh about the Wii. Do whatever the hell you want, Kwaad. Go ahead, mercilessly bash the Wii about how it sucks and how it won't last. Praise how the Xbox and PS3 will be the only two left, and how eventually the PS3 will win. I accept anyone's opinion about the Wii, I do really.
