Where did this rumor start? I would love for this to be true but where is the source?

Microsoft need to work on actualy making the 360 good value for money as opposed to deceptivley good value.

Cheapen the accesories , live , peripherals etc and then you have something tangiable.

If true it will help a little, I was hoping to see a $75 price drop!!

That would be a bargain. I just posted earlier how MS should do this by January. There is a big psychological difference between 349 and 299. (Not to mention it is almost 15% off, quite a deal to me)

The timing is good as well. It will have a price drop and some positive press about a week before the MGS4 NPD number come out. Also, some positive sales data going into E3.

Hopefully PS3 follows with a $50 price drop as well.

Yeah Sony needs to respond with 100 dollar price drop almost immediately.

I was predicting $80, but $50 seems nice, too. Wonder what the Core will be, since that one is the Premium.

Not gonna happen.  Expect $50 at most.

Good news if true. Wish for a much larger cut, but $50 in July is better than nothing, as I figured they'd hold out till later. Atleast it drops it to sub-$300 for the Prem, and (hopefully) sub-$400 for the Elite.

I'd expect sales to jump around 50% per week for some time..

Then maybe a Christmas drop as Jasper is fully intergrated?
