OK sorry if I sounded insulting, my point was just that "emulating graphics" is a pretty meaningless expression (at least in this context).

Regarding Ray-Tracing, forget it. Current CPUs (including the Cell) aren't powerful enough to use that in games. Your video was rendered by 14 Cell processors according to the youtube comment. It's also a pretty simple scene.

 What you see there is done on a 14 CELL Blade server yet you come here acting as if the PS3 can do that.

Sorry but the "graphics" are raytraced (Not in games at the moment) or rasterized (Current use) such a thing like emulated only shows that you don't know what are you talking about...

This demo was produced with 3 clustered PS3 and runs at a smooth 15 FPS ...

Not to mention there is no AI, no engine ...

Real time ray tracing won't be acheivable "in-game" with PS3.

Have you got anything beside tech demos to sustain your claim that Cell can emultate graphics ?

Please note Mifely has a real point even if the real usefullness of what he's describing can (as he does himself) be challenged.

exclusive ps3 games will look good but multiplatform should be better on 360 but only time will tell, but one thing i hate from microsoft that they have no shame for is that my 360 elite got the rrod a week ago.

Even worse, its on a blade server with FOURTEEN FULL CELL PROCESSORS

So you are basing your point on a demo from 2005 (At this point the hardware as we know it didn't exist so all the GPU demos were based on the real PC-GPUs)

I'm refering to people who say that Metal Gear "Blows Away" Gears of War where Gears of War does some things better (material shaders for example), and many of the other differences can be explained (in part) due to Gears of War having different technical requirements and a budget that was 10% to 20% of Metal Gear Solid's budget.
