Actually, this is something I noticed and it may be a trend worldwide. People are definitely watching a lot less TV than they used to. It's probably because of the rise of the internet and videogames (movies are really only slightly larger than in the 90s). TV networks are going to have to fill their slots with a lot less crap now. I'm quite excited.
