 I take it you mean japan as there is only a 20k difference in others.

The DS needs a new hit title that will increase sales like with the PSPs monster hunter portables, or a hot new color.

Like the new colors that were announced for japan, and dragon quest remakes/IX? I think the ds can't get any more bigger in japan. 1/6th of the population has one, and I believe it already pasted the sales of the ps2 there. It's selling fine for a  console that has reached its limit.
