Wii and Xbox 360 sales are higher than NPD US + Canada combined, but they're not over a million higher. For 360 it is around 400-500k and for Wii around 700-800k looking at the number from May 31.

PS3 doesn't seem to be a lot higher than NPD US and Canada combined, it doesn't seem to be lower though. Maybe it was in the past, but Vgchartz has it at 4.95M while NPD US is at 4.45M. Considering PS3 was just above 300k at the end of 2007 in Canada I really don't believe it to be above 500k at the end of May which it needs for your claim to be true.

Check my earlier remarks about those shipment numbers, they're either old and obsolete or they're obviously wrong/not recent. Wii can't have shipped only 26M by now, that would mean it shipped only 1.55M units in the last 12 weeks and it sold more than that in Japan and the US alone in April/May.

Nobody is saying the numbers on the frontpage are gospel and can't be criticized. Problem is you criticize them using facts that are simply not true/don't add up.

The only TRULY "wait until" game is FFXIII, nothing more.

And to all those who talk about new price cuts, remember that Wii is selling for the same price since it come out, and, if is needed, could go as low as $150.

Anyways, having to cut the price that much is not a good sign and, by the way, the GC was cheap as bread from the get-go, and it came last last-gen.

Price is no that important, wich doesnt mean that you can charge up 600U$S to your console, that was just a plain bad decision

It was GTA4, then it was MGS4, now it is GT5, not FF13.

I believe PS3 is down a slippery slope too. No more price cuts, no games in the near future could mean that WW sales of PS3 and 360 will be close for a while.
