| shams said: The only real question for this holiday season Wii-wise, is how many units will have they have on the shelves/stockpiled. The stock issue REALLY bit them hard last year, and they will try hard to make it much less of an issue this year. I'll be pretty amazed if there are ANY Wii units remaining on the shelves at Dec 31st '08. (new software has nothing to do with it - even if Ninty release NOTHING new it will still sell out, and easily so) |
To me that is why new and old software are so interesting... it is in question. We all know Nintendo is going to push a lot of Hardware/WiiFit/WiiPlay but I want to see how major third party games do (GH, ToS, Megaman (?), Conduit, COD:WaW, EA Sports, etc.) and how many more millions the older 1st and 3rd party games will sell.
If SMG, MKWii, Zelda, GHIII, or any other core/semi-core games can top off with another mil or two during the holidays, that is pretty significant.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
