Wario Land: The Shake Dimension Dated for Europe

Plus Nintendo's summer line-up.

UK, June 24, 2008 - Nintendo has just issued an updated European release schedule for both the DS and Wii, with the most prominent addition being Wario Land: The Shake Dimension which is set to launch on September 26.

Not much has been seen of Wario's latest outside of a Famitsu preview, but expect a side scrolling jaunt that takes some cues from Treasure's time with Mario's mischievous foe. Elsewhere on the list of forthcoming Wii games there is Manhunt 2, due out in August following its protracted travails through the High Court.

Nintendo's DS also gets a few morsels, with a new Ace Attorney game – titled Trials and Tribulations – coming on October 3, and Activision's Guitar Hero: On Tour being given a July 18 street date.

Feast your eyes on selected highlights of Nintendo's summer schedule -

Oh wow. Not only did the make the worst game ever, they delay European release by almost a year.

Definitely a day 1 purchase for me.

Nobody cares? Also is this game going to be released in EU before the US?

WarioWare I can deal with, fun game actually. I loves Smooth Moves.

After playing Wario : Master of Disguise... I will stay away from this game. He obviously showed us all he doesn't like to be touched. Shaking doesn't sound great either.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Ouch. Hoping Shake came out much earlier.

De Blob and Wario Land Shake on the same day (Sept. 26)? Wow, I should start saving.

Only left the American release.

After Super Smash Bros. Brawl (and maybe Ninja Gaiden DS), the summer upcoming list doesn't have much that interest me...

But, it seems that many games I want will come around the same time early Autumn : De Blob, Wario Land: The Shake Dimension, Samba De Amigo, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations. To that should be added Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (which I won't get till I have Trials and Tribulations) and Spore (PC). I'll have too many games to play late September/early October.

Going back to the summer releases, there might still be a couple of good unannounced titles. Anyway, I've been buying way too many games since the beginning of year. A slow summer for releases will help reduce my huge backlog of games a bit.

nice, im going for deblob / wario land and star wars =D
