They never said when the received help from these other studios.

And that's just the way SCEWWS works. All the studios help each other out. In the credits of Uncharted, they thanked Insomniac, Sony Santa Monica, Guerrilla Games, Polyphony Digital, Incognito, and a few others.

Look how Uncharted turned out.

 

And in the credits for MGS4 they thanked Ubisoft and the Assassin's Cread team.

Uh...pretty much any of Nintendo's franchises are bigger than GoW. If they annouce Kid Icarus/Animal Crossing/Some other stuff, GoW3 stands no chance.

That was for allowing Kojima Productions to include Altair's Costume in the game as unlockable camouflage free of charge.
