an okay game with alot of problems like how it loads alot and the repetivness by redoing the stage again just as a different character is what ruined it.

Couldn't agree with you more, except on the RPG part, as this game is more an adventure / action game. But personally I loved it as well and especially the story, atmosphere kept me attached to the screen until the very end.

I never really got into it, for me it just became a bit too much of a button masher. Plus you had to capture the precisely right folk for the boss, and you could not make do without that monster. Also, having to repeat it was not a great thing at all

lol, edited, I thought this topic was about Overlord, dunno why.

 

Anyway, yes, I have played Folklore as well, it's a good game. I don't really feel like writing a review anymore after this debacle though. :(

I agree with ZenfoldorVGI, the game was very underrated on the 360, infact, I don't think it was rated at all.

Anyway, I loved the game and it is underrated in my opinion, but many people don't like it, so I am not sure. I want to pick it up once it is cheaper.

The reason the game scored lower than it should from many outlets is because it actually launched with a bug that didn't allow the game to load post the brewery level, making it unbeatable. Without that bug, there is no doubt the game would have scored in the upper 80th precentile on gamerankings.

Since there is now a patch for the Xbox 360 and PC version, and the game can be found for under 20 dollars, and also it has an expansion pack available for cheap on XBL, I'd recommend it as a must play for any gamer attempting to get a feel for diversity in gaming this generation or just people looking for a great game.

Looks like someone was reading (and replying) too fast today...

Or maybe I'm missing something. Still, we have a clue 'brewery level' - what game is Zen actually talking about here?

EDIT - Overlord - is that the same Overlord that hit PSN as a demo recently?  If so I'll have to give the demo a go.

I think it's pretty awesome, am at the end battle with the giant crow thingy right now [i think it's the end battle].

Story = 9
Gameplay = 8
Graphics = 9.2
Characters = 8.3
Presentation = 10
Lasting Appeal = 8.5

Overall [For ME] = 8.8
