Forums - Gaming - What was your favorite Intro (opening movie to a game) of all time?

Sanctuary from KHII is beautiful, probably the one song from a video game that is trully unforgetable.

my favorite intro of all time would have to be from Suikoden III.

Systems I own (Games)

Sega: Dreamcast (40) , Saturn (25), Genesis (50), Masters System (10), Game Gear (20)

Sony: PS1 (8), PS2 (60) , PS3 (5), PSP (12)

Atari: 2600 (18) , 7800 (10), Lynx (10)

I'd say Legacy of Kain intro ranks up there in to top ten or so

MGS4 on a good HD TV and surround sound system

forgot to mention, this has always been a happy one

Bonus points for Banjo-Kazooie. ^_^

Also, the menu screen for OoT is priceless... Link riding along with Epona, the only sound is her hooves along the ground... good times indeed.

Lost Odyessey without a doubt. Anyone who has seen the film 300 will know how the battles looked. watch this it's very similar. Best intro I've seen by a country mile. More epic than MGS4.

Lost Odyssey

"I like my steaks how i like my women.  Bloody and all over my face"

"Its like sex, but with a winner!"

Resident Evil Code: Veronica... the intro was just graphically amazing for the time, and I love the move when Claire drops her gun as if to surrender then drops down to shoot the barrels. I know it's since been copied and maybe it wasn't original in the first place, but that is one that has stuck with me.

"The last metroid is in captivity...The galaxy is at peace.." Still gives me the chills.

The worst intro ever is Donkey Kong 64. It's so bad..it's good.

"You won't find Adobe here in Nairobi"
