Street Fighter 3 Third strike...best fighting system. Not just the best Street Fighter but the best fighting game ever.

Even Screwattack says so...

My only real complaint with Third Strike was how they gimped my boy Sean. I used to own with him in ANG and he was still good in 2I, but in 3S he damn near got the Dan treatment. SFA3 has a lot of characters but the game seemed off. My favorite game out of the Alpha series was SFA2.

^as stated above, online play really was a great addition. though it never was around when the original was, but now it is just too good to be true for all of us who grew up playing it.

I never really played anything past the SF2 series ($1-2 on alpha in an arcade, but that is about it), so I have to say Super Street Fighter II HD Remix. Followed extremely closely by Street Fighter II Turbo (SNES). I like the additions of super moves, and online play and the slightly easier than classic controls in HD Remix.

What the guy that looks like a girl said.  I've only played a 1/2 dozen SF games and didn't play Street Fighter 3 Third Strike.  However, of the games I've played, the only 2 I ever bought were SF2 Turbo and SSF2HDR (PSN).

hey, I'm a guy, and that is a picture of my wife.... I don't know how to take your statement, but I'm leaning towards offended

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

Could you do me a favor and lean the other way?

I pretty much said I think you have perfect taste when it comes to Street Fighter, right?  Because I agree completely with it.

SF3:Third Strike is best.

Anyone saying otherwise either hasn't played them all...or even if he played them all he doesn't actually "get" street fighter 3 cause he probably got his ass kicked and he didn't want to bother lerning how to play it.

Or hes just flat out wrong.

I dont want to sound rude but that is the reality. I spent 100s of hours with each street fighter ever made. Sf3:3rd strike is the deepest, most balanced, best looking and best playing game.

SF2 comes close due to its sheer simplicity and fun factor tho.

I loved 3rd Strike (I still play it from time to time) but it came out at a time when fighting games were on the decline. I didn't have too many friends to play it with so it didn't get the attention that it deserved. The game I had the most fun with was Street Fighter Alpha 3. Not the best, but definitely the most fun I've ever had with a fighter.

Alpha 3 was amazing. They included everything and the kitchen sink with that game. However there are some major balance issues with it...once you start messing with V-izms and X-izms some characters get crazy advantage over others. SFA2 was actually more balanced game...but A3 was a lot more fun with bunch of drunk freinds. I never had so many come from behind victories as in that game... :)

Street fighter III: 3rd Strike

4 is awesome.
