metal gear solid 4 nothing comes close to how good it is not even gta iv

Final Fantasy III on the SNES. I remeber playing it 2 player with my best friend. We both were like Sophmores in HS and had strep so our parents were like "well since they cant give it to each other I guess they can hang out". We sat in his room and tag-teamed the game until we beat it. Truely epic!!

Are Earthbound and Mother 2 the same game?

I think it's one of the most perfect games ever.  Super Metroid has no flaws in my opinion and maybe the best 2D game of all time.  That perfect playability that 3D can't really match.

But Deus Ex is a richer experience to me, with the perfect balance of gameplay styles and story I like, but with some flawed execution.

 Yeah, Mother 2 is just Earthbound's Japanese name. So there are the same game^^

Very difficult to choose from FF IV, FF VI and Starcraft. But, I spent the most hours with FFIV so I'd have to go with that.

Portal. I already explained why I love it so much in another thread. Let's keep it short and say that it's the best game to come out in a very, very long time.
