I don't see a reason to be pissed off about two titles in a series being released a year apart. That is assuming the second one isn't a simple rehash of the first one with little additional content (for reference, see sports titles lika FIFA, PES and Madden).

It's not massive, infact it is overpriced for what you get, that's why it's good that GT5 comes out next year.

Riiiiiight, kinda like when no one bought the PS2 version of RE4 because they all rushed out and got a Gamecube to play the game in advance.

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
If they announce Forza 3, I doubt it will hit this year. We'll probably see it mid-2009, which would put development at two years.
Plus, Turn 10 has the advantage of already having the engine and much of the code necessary to speed up the process.
I'm excited at the thought of Forza 3 releasing at the same time as GT5. While I will buy them both, Forza will probably get more playtime. The online component in Forza 2 kicked serious ass. It's probably the best online console experience I've ever had. Great community, awesome features, avid fans, some of the most mature people I have seen online.
I guess the difficulty level of the game keeps the 12 year old shitheads away from the game.

Depends on the racer, many games have had 12

Nah, I never had a bad lag problem. Every once in awhile it would pop up but that person would either get kicked or I would hop into another server. Switching servers only takes 2-3 minutes most of the time and the lag was never widespread.
You can race up to 8 in Forza, I believe. It's been awhile since I played the game.

Since when yearly installments of sport franchises bother you? You have pro evolution 3, 5, 6, 7 (2008) in your profile. Why would this be different?
Anyways, let's hope they do fix the flaws in forza 2.
