maybe you should ask them what they did with the $200 they saved. perhaps they bought four excellent games from the much larger Xbox360 library?

Do they know they miss out on each consoles exclusives like Gran Turismo, Halo, Mario, Zelda, Metriod, God of War, Gears of War, Project Gotham Racing 4, and Shawdow of Callosses. I can understand if your a PR of that company and always say good things about that system but your not getting paid at all when your a fanboy. I just want to know why people are fanboys and why they choose to one. PSWII60!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I both like and dislike your logic. It works for many people but does not for some. I hate Gears of war, God of War, Halo, Gran Turismo, Shadow of Collasus(was okay) & Project Gotham Racing.
I got a PS3 for FF13 which will be the last chance I give to FF(It's been dissapointing me for years but kept me happy for so long I feel upset to not at least try)
I got a 360 for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Overlord, Too Human & Eternal Sonata
I got a Wii for Metroid prime 3, Super Paper Mario, Wario Ware, Super Mario Galaxy & Super Smash bros as well as Sonic, Rayman etc.
Again, love the logic, as a fellow PSWii60 or as I like to call it WiiS360 I have to agree very much so, just wish people would use more then the games like Gears of War or Gran Turismo when they mention the vantage points of the systems. In the end all three have presence and it's not crazy to own all 3 as they compliment eachother quite nicely! My favorite is still Wii though..
So your argument is they could get better online services and two consoles for the price of one PS3? Lol and give me a break the Wii fanboys/girls are usually over zealous in their post but very few of them seem to just make blatent attacks on other systems the PS3 camp by in large seems to hate both the Wii camp and the Xbox360 camp and the counter arguments with well my system is the most powerful ever and can totally make toast in HD not to mention if you say you don't care about that your a total fanboy idiot. I know that isn't all PS3 owners I'm just saying it seems like the majority of those complaining about trolling and rabid fanboyism.
As for the topic heading like someone said you obviously want the system you picked to do well expecially if you only picked one and reading about people talking down your system when it obviously had what you wanted from the beginning is a bit annoying. I mean who wants to hear PS3 so you payed $600 bucks for FFXIII and MGS yeah that was smart or so Xbox360 you get a discount for sending that back so many times or haha the Wii if you were a real gamer you would of picked a system with pure power nothing else matters.
I am WEEzY. You can suck my Nintendo loving BALLS!

I'm a Nintendo fanboy because I have a personal affinity for the games they construct. I'm not saying they are Gods, but many of the games they've made over the years engage me in a timeless and happy way few others have achieved and no others have sustained.
I've played other consoles, I've enjoyed other consoles. I loved DDR so much I bought a PSONE for it, but as far as games go, I'm in love with Nintendo and they seem to know what I want before I do. No other company has connected with me so consistently, and they're so good at it, I now have faith they'll do it in the future too.
As far as companies go I'm also very much enamoured with Nintendo. They're tough, protective, money concious, creative but in a constructive way rather than an expensive way, never in debt, good to shareholders and concious that the consumer is what keeps them going. They've seen good times and bad, been bad guys and saviours. They're a hundered years old but still creative leaders. Recently they've shown real brains and clear direction of thought They're very much the kind of company I'd like to run.
As for missing out on games, yes it's certainly true I miss games I'd love on the other systems, but from a practical point of view, I can't afford to support more than one.
In some rights, it's good to be a fanboy. But not in an absurdly stupid way. There's nothing wrong with stating why you feel something's going to go one way, where others might go another route. There are all kinds of people in this world, all kinds of food, music, movies, books, what makes gaming any different? There will always be different strokes for different folks.
What gets me is when people act as if there are no alternatives, that PS3 will rule all, or Wii is the only way to go. Sure, gaming is an expensive hobby, but if you've got buddies, you can always distribute your console purchasing between them. You want a Wii? Buy it, let your friend get a 360. Trade off, hang out, play the systems and rent games for 'em.
People are going to like their Marios, Halos, Final Fantasies, GTs, Zeldas... you're not going to change that with some words on a gaming forum. Only you or the game's designers can change your tastes in that regard. So don't act like a moron and think that other people are stupid because they like one. They can be bright and respectful individuals.
If they're not? Eh, ban 'em and give them the middle finger on the way out the door.

And when analysts where saying PSP was gonna crush DS and force Nintendo to stop in this market... So im enjoying now! That's why im so faithfull to Nintendo...! Also... Im kinda monogaam! (Means u commit yourself to one hobby and stick to it) |
I agree.
Most people are forced to have just one console because of financial issues, so there is some amount of risk in their purchase. Nobody wants to see their console Dreamcasted, so emotions tend to run high over fear of wasting their investment.
Well, maybe they can only afford one. I am sure this has been mentioned already, but it is a big factor.
As for choosing to be a fanboy... It is the internet. Everyone thinks their opinion matters to everyone else. People can be as vocal as they want. Damn you Internet. Just another necessary evil.
