It seems gamestop received an additional shipment of 80gb PS3, and they immediatly sold out again.
Expect elevated PS3 sales in NA for next week.
Where can I tell that this is a new shipment and not the old shipment that was no longer in stock?
After selling out before did they remove it from the site?

It states it ships 6/20/08, which is this weekend?
Anyhow that means they received additional units, and it sold out immediately.
Also yes they did remove it from there site when they could no longer sell it with the first shipment.

It has roughly 30% market share.
PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
Yeah, well at least Sony is getting these out pretty quick. Most other retailers will probably have some too.

sony better solves the supply problem fast. coz ps3 is not like Wii. those ppl who cant find a Wii on the market will be forced to wait because these isnt another console out there with motion sensing controller to replace it. FOr ps3, ppl may get impatient n choose to buy xbox360 instead, :P

Sorry but no.
Ps3 have been in supply. Unlike the Wii.
Its just this certain model that hasnt been in supply,
If someone gets impatient they would just go 40gig....
Also remember the 360 fans complaining that "the pro model is supply constrained"
then sony fans were like "but the 80gig model is supply constrained for us"
360 fans - "but thats not as big as our supply constrain"
ps3 fans - "we will see"
then the pro model comes in stock and there is no bump....
then 80gig comes and... 200% increase!!!!

people like me that are waiting to get a 80gb model since months are not interested by a Xbox360 or we would have bought it already ;))
