Should Sega release a new sku for techies? They could call it the sega CD. Hardcore gamers will love it... who cares about Sega's bottom line?
Same thing with the Wii. It would be nice to have for if you are a hardcore gamer, but Nintendo is focused 100% on profitability, forever. It'll never happen and hardcore gamers will buy the Wii anyway.
