^^ which reminds me, my cousins have their wii positioned in the middle of the windows which a lot of bright light comes through, this seems to screw with the sensors aswell.

Is there a light source interfering?

Is it the motion controls, or the pointer? If it's the former, then I've got nothing. If it's the latter, the problem may be that there's another source of infrared light in the room (often reflected sunlight or some other electronic device) that's confusing your Wii. If that's not the case, then I still have nothing.
It's the pointer, sorry for not specifying. Motion controls are relatively good, but not as good as before. The real problem is the pointer though.
I can't think of any light interfering, but I'll check that out next time.
Thanks for all ideas, I'm checking for blue-tooth now.
