Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft coping the Wii, The end or a new beginning of the xbox360?

Since There are  rumors of "Avatar", and the Xmote...could this be the end or a new beginning of the Xbox360..

Ok ok Don't flame me, but i very believe that if Microsoft does try to copy the Wii, by Motion controlls and Miis i do believe Microsoft is going to go even more down hill, and will Boost Sony sales up..

COPING LOL. yeah im sure they are coping with being pwned by nintendo. as far as COPYING goes, everybody copies everybody.

I do think is a good step in a new direction for Microsoft... But being honest, it came too little, too late.

If the Xbox 360 had come with this from the bery begining, it would make a lot more difference... But this is a response to Sony's Home and Nintendo's Mii. And implementing it on a console that didn't consider these new values from the system's conception is going to ba a hard struggle to cater audience

You mean just like Sony went down the gutter because of the Sixaxis?

They were doing just fine without all the ripoffs, imo. Couldn't be doing much better from a gamers perspective. So, imo, changing the formula leads them nowhere but down. Don't change directions midstream, imo.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I find it very hard to believe that they would abandon their core demographic.

@ leo-j

Actually Nintendo used the motion technology Gyration used for years as a PC mouse. They payed for the license.

Besides... the first controller to use motion sensing in my belief was.... the Power Glove for the NES
