a console doesn't have to be winning the console race to have good/favourable games

I've never seen or heard SONY/MS  fans reacted like in  E3 2004. Its not the definite moments though, but atleast fans reaction was memorable but it'll forgotten in history. E3 2006 WASNT.

It has nothing to do with what you said. It's called a dedicated fanbase cheering for their favourite video game series. Have a problem against that?

E3 2006 for me, because it was the first E3 I watched live, and because it'll go down in history as Nintendo's first won battle in the console war against 360 and PS3.
It's a shame I never got to see the E3 with the TP-trailer live, because it would've kind of blown my mind.

 Why would I troll in my own thread? Anyway I just cant figure out how Zelda announcement be that exciting? Sorry no Zelda fan I only play Zelda on SNES and Twilight Princess right now but I never seen chanting when Halo 2 or halo 3 announced in Xbox or 360 or even MGS4 in PS3. Is it because of element of surprise?

Exactly you're not a Zelda fan. And maybe it was an element of surprise. Remember when they shown a tech demo of the gamecube? There was an awesome Link and Ganon fight. Afterwards, Wind Waker came out and people really didn't like the new artstyle (at first). It was shoking.

I guess that when they showed Twilight Princess, with the same music as Ocarina of Time's trailer, and the more realistic style back, people just were so happy to see that... It's the magic and epicness of Zelda. Also Miyamoto being there and all that was quite cool.

And even if you created that thread doesn't mean you can't troll in it. ;)

My favorite was the announcement for DS. Asses kicked, names taken since it's launch and here I thought it was a fun joke at the time. To be honest I was happy to be proven wrong.



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Yeah, Im being serious. WHY? I have interest on Ninty again because of the Wii, dont get me wrong but Im a Playstation fan from the first PSX console to PS2 console. Im still a PS fan if not for Ninty disrupting me.

@lolita-----> So thats how dedicated the loyal fanbase of Zelda were eh? Wonder what would the fan will react if Ninty will show Zelda again with graphic overhaul from the the GC version in this coming E3?

LOL thats what Im thinking too, and theres a 75 percent possibility that it will happened too! And I want that to happen just to see fan's reactions on youtube everyday
