Forums - Sales - Will MGS4 outsell GTA IV LTD (PS3 version only)??

Right day 1 sales are in................1.3 Million, I dunno what could be the limit for Week 1......maybe 2 - 2.5 million

That ALMOST matches GTA IV in 1st week sales......now PS3 won't have to compete with another console for fans of the game to jump on board, as we can see GTA IV PS3 is loosing legs and may end up just doing 5 Million Lifetime.

I reckon if MGS4 can keep legs at a COD4 level for a long time, & if SONY ACTUALLY SUPPLY MORE 80GB PS3's......MGS4 will Defeat GTA 4 on PS3 (which it oh so deserves to)..

What do all of you think??Will Snake CQC GTA IV n become PS3's top selling game until the Crystals of FF13 take over?? DISCUSSSSSS!

P.S I hope I made my feeling about GTA 4 clear the other day...

Yeah, with the bundle, it will definitely outsell GTAIV.

let's be serious here, MotorStorm wouldn't reach half of what it sold without being a part of the bundle.

If this bundle lasts until.. say... R2 bundle, we will see this game at probably 6-7 million copies sold. (

i think IT MIGHT outsell the PS3 version of Grand Theft AUTO I WOULD WAIT TO SEE THE FIRST WEEK SALES THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also you must see the GAME MGS4 can appeal to new people due to environments, a decent camera and better controls

my friends LOVED the game......3 of them have never payed MGS series but they are buying MGS4 because it was so much fun.

 yes, a point that NOBODY brought up before.

 

that you DON'T HAVE to play the stealth type of game. you can just blast your way through. But purists will want to stealth, THis will attract more of US's FPS fans. Which i think is a brilliant move.

you liked GEOW....then buy this

you like exploring huge environments....then BUY this

n its worked....the TV ad is very well done..the UK one anyway, they just need to show it more.

 well, my friend was sold when he saw the ball grabbing move. LOL

 

the fact you get to play through this game in so many different ways is just amazing. Second time through, you can skip the cutscenes.

 

now, let's not even have to talk about the ONLINE play. Much deserving 10/10 than GTAIV (in my opinion)

I think no game deserves 10....but I was all for it just to make sure IGN n GSPOT realize it kicks GTA 4 in the ass....

Yeah I am actually re-trying areas in stealth n then in action.....the difference is huge n is noticeable, I feel you do get much more satisfaction through stealth...
