You are EXPECTED to have fun with a gaming console, you don't buy it for any other reason outside to have fun. Just because a game looks better doesn't immediately translate into it being more fun, and if Average Joe A can have fun with any one game on any of the three consoles, which do you think he's going to pick? The most expensive of the 3? Not likely. |
I'm sure I'd have fun with the games on another console(presumably you are talking about the Wii, because you tend to shrug off graphics), but laughing and having fun just isn't enough for me as an adult gamer. I WANT to be angered, I WANT to be scared, I WANT to be amazed at what I see and to be enthralled by gaming, and yes I WANT to have fun too, but that's not the most important part, it is simply one part of gaming that needs to be there. That's why I don't just watch "action-comedy" or "buddy" flicks, in fact I despise most movies that fall into these genres, whereas dramas and hard core action and war and sci-fi movies are much more likely to get my attention. So do not presume that, all though you can have fun on any console, that you can get the same experience all around, but if your console gives you all you need then go and be merry.
