I think most of that list might be right because most of those are ports, but I believe I remember hearing in a video review of RE4wii edition that capcom made it run at 60fps. Some of those games also don't sound right seeing as alot of those don't seem to push the wii at all. Maybe the developers were to lazy to optimize for the wii.
Have you read the article above? even developer make a 60 fps game in any console you'll hardly see the difference because TVs always make the 30 fps lock. No more than that. And yeah, I research more on this framerate and refresh rate thing and its the graphics card that can make a game in 60 fps or more, not the monitor its different in consoles, the TV dictates what should seen in the screen so even how powerful the console was you really cant see the 60 fps thing. TVs relies on refresh rates to make the graphics or picture quality good, not the framerates unless your TV have its own GPU.

Viper said lcds, and hdtvs allow for 60fps. My wii is able to connect to my pc monitor, and both my lcd hdtvs. Which means I will recognize a noticable difference.

I'd like to point out that there are a number of PS36o titles which only run at 30 FPS and no one complains.

I actually prefer some games to run at 30 FPS: it makes for a more cinematic experience as most movies were 30 FPS or around there.

The smoothness of 60 FPS looks unnatural on certain games.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

@sc94597-----> Because you directly hooked you PC on your TV, which means the PC was doing the signal, not the TV itself. And yeah, like snake said 60 fps was possible on HDTVs but its not practical since you never seen any difference. PCs work differently from TVs, even I only have a decent PC I can see the difference between 30 fps Quake 4 and 60 fps CS, on the Wii even I have a HDTV I cant see the difference between 60 FPS Mario and a 30 FPS Zack and Wiki.

And yeah, I dunno that Zack and Wiki was 30 fps till someone said to me.

Actually I'm using a cable that connects directly to my monitor rather than to my pc. If the difference isn't noticable I see no point in making a game 60fps for a console. Like viper said though you only notice the difference if you see them side by side.

Even TVs run in 30 fps doesnt mean it should be in PCs. 30 fps in PC games was different in 30 fps on TVs, so dont settle for 30 fps in your PC  if you want to buy a PC game. Even my PC runs Counter Strike 1.6 in constant 60 fps and its a decent PC. What more on standard PC we buy these days.

Im telling this if someone plans to buy a PC or a PC game, if your PC cant handle a 60 fps in a PC game DONT BUY IT. Its not worth it, its just a waste of money, 60 fps is the standard right now, especially on PC games. 30 fps standard was from 1990's this is 2008. Just to tell everyone...

Sorry, but I run crysis at around 30fps fine. It;s when it drops that you have a problem. I would rather play it at a constant 30fps than 60 and droping. You don't really notice a difference.

Well for a singleplayer camapaign it is, Im playing Quake 4 before in constant 30 fps in singleplayer mode, it works fine. Its in multiplayer games I noticed a slowdown, yeah, you can still play but not as good and fast as if you're playing Quake II, yeah I have Quake 2 before even with this PC.

And yeah, I also played COD 4 on singleplayer with 30 fps, but its crummy in multiplayer matches

That is probably lag from your internet connection. What is your download upload and latency(ping)?

And yeah, dont settle for 30 fps, especially on PC FPS, settle for 60 fps. Theres a real difference especially when you play multiplayer matches. 60 fps was the standard right now, even professional gamers says 60 fps was the standard for Pc game framerates especially FPS games.

Its on LAN, theres one PC we have that only play on 30 fps, while the other have higher framerate, we noticed the difference quite well we thought its on lag.
