Even my PC runs Counter Strike 1.6 in constant 60 fps and its a decent PC. What more on standard PC we buy these days.
Im telling this if someone plans to buy a PC or a PC game, if your PC cant handle a 60 fps in a PC game DONT BUY IT. Its not worth it, its just a waste of money, 60 fps is the standard right now, especially on PC games. 30 fps standard was from 1990's this is 2008. Just to tell everyone...

Sorry, but I run crysis at around 30fps fine. It;s when it drops that you have a problem. I would rather play it at a constant 30fps than 60 and droping. You don't really notice a difference. |
Well for a singleplayer camapaign it is, Im playing Quake 4 before in constant 30 fps in singleplayer mode, it works fine. Its in multiplayer games I noticed a slowdown, yeah, you can still play but not as good and fast as if you're playing Quake II, yeah I have Quake 2 before even with this PC.
And yeah, I also played COD 4 on singleplayer with 30 fps, but its crummy in multiplayer matches
