@sc94597-----> Because you directly hooked you PC on your TV, which means the PC was doing the signal, not the TV itself. And yeah, like snake said 60 fps was possible on HDTVs but its not practical since you never seen any difference. PCs work differently from TVs, even I only have a decent PC I can see the difference between 30 fps Quake 4 and 60 fps CS, on the Wii even I have a HDTV I cant see the difference between 60 FPS Mario and a 30 FPS Zack and Wiki.
And yeah, I dunno that Zack and Wiki was 30 fps till someone said to me.
end of core gaming days prediction:
E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out
