I agree with stopping the games with Gamespot. My intention with starting this up was to add more "fun" to our games. Guess that did not work out so well, eh? Well, my intensions were good.

Don't beat yourself up dude; you had a hell of an idea and you carried it through. We owe you for that, big time. And it was a blast last week.

We're just a little pissy right now because we suck far, far more than we thought we did.

Still, I solemnly swear that we shall improve, and we shall reclaim our lost pride on the battlefield.

And again, thanks for doing this. I meant it. We all do.

@radioi: Good point. Nothing motivates me to get better like my pride, and a weekly whooping will certainly keep me on track.

You have to remember too that we have a few "new" players.. I for instance.. not only do I not do much in the way of help for the team.. as far as back up, ect.. but I give them a lot more deaths as well to their score. They had a lot of good players who played well together.. you guys only had about 4-5 with someone like me hurting the team.

You did NOT hurt the team for the simple reason that we were not a team. We were a group of individuals. all doing our best against a group that was playing as a team.

I agree with you that we have many newer players, and they stacked the deck with pros. I do not think they had a newbie on their team, and for a while, they also out numbered us to.

It was great to have you on our team.

Radio & Sabin, you guys are just starting out, dont be so hard on yourselves. You should seen EntilZha when he first started out, yeah not so hot. But now he kicks my ass constantly.Skill comes with time.

Anyway, so that settles it? Were back to regular matches?

Thanks for the compliment Volt!

He is right. When I first started I could not kill anyone except by accident. I have gotten better, but I still have a long way to go.

Regular matches are sounding real sweet right about now. With the increased people in the league, maybe we can play our own TDM. Afterall, we are not used to playing in teams. We are always playing every man for themselves. Practicing in teams WILL makes us better.

^^ I guess. I don't play this game enough to compete, only once a week. Neither do I plan on putting more time in . Shooting you guys and dieing by you are enough to satisfy my weekly shooting needs.

Ent's right though: we act like a horde while they act like an army. We'll need to start playing a bit more together if we're to fix that. I think we should start up on Thursdays again.

In any case, I'll certainly start playing more online once finals are finally over.

Yes, and we NEED to stop killing ourselves.. seriously, we had like 9999999 team killing, not only we were getting owned by them but also we were getting owned ourselves, and that didn't help.

I think we had a few flaws in our plans. First of all, we tried to stick to an area (graveyard) that was far too small for that many people. So crowded that you could not move without being attacked from 3 sides. We should have spread out, and tried to catch them in smaller numbers or better yet alone. Second, I think that a bigger map would have helped as well. Harder to overwhelm us in numbers if they have to be split up. But the most important flaw for us, was that the majority of them were pros, not causal players for fun like us. I for one do not have the time to dedicate to the game to be that good. Many of those GS players are highly ranked it seems. Here is a posting from the GS forum. It made me feel better.

LMAO! I'm looking at this roster and I can already imagine the the scores.
VGChartz people, don't feel to bad if you think your butts were handed to you on a silver platter. If you wanted to practice, it sure seems like you picked a good team to do it against.
I've played these guys, any one of them can keep the enemy at bay with scores below zero!
Any 2 of these guys together in a team can hold their own in against 10 regular players.
9 of them together equals one of Gamefaqs DREAM TEAM.

To sum it up:

General Rock - Active MOHH player who can snipe and use assault weapons interchangably. He's one of the skilled newer players.

Ressurected - Retired from MOHH, occasionally plays and still holds rank# 90

AFRO - One of the best snipers in teh game who crossed over to LMGs. Rank:28

Turboweasle - One of the best players I've seen in the field. He may not be in the top 100 but he plays like someone in the top 10

Banthapudu - Still plays occasionally and has an admirable STG. Still holds rank# 7

Sabin - I've seen him turn the scores around in games a lot

Halfgenius - Usually an ally player. Deadly sniper and sharpshooting shotty. Retired from MOHH but still holds rank # 53

AK Reeve - one of the newer players but is a force to reckon with in the battle field.

I've played all of them and they can easily send me home crying with a score of -25.

If I saw these guys together in a team, I would leave the game and turn off my Wii!

Ouch, lol... I'm not related here, but read what happened, I feel your pain. Reminds me of when me & my friends joined a Counter-Strike tournament (we were pretty good IMO), and we got our freggin asses to us by a group of Koreans in the first round. They ended up taking second place. I was so confident we could do well, getting raped in our first match (10-3) was not fun.

So, g'luck there, though I recommend against playing a team that stacked. It's one thing fighting a better team, it's another when things are completely one-sided - it isn't fun, leads to frustration and likely won't help you improve at all (IMO). It's impossible to know why you're losing when it seems like everything is going wrong. This is where rating systems would really help out...
